Parting Ways:
For over the last four years, Sandgravy Musical Innovations (SMI) has had its guitar lessons hosted at First Baptist Church of Woodstock. However, policy implementations on both ends are resulting in discontinuing this relationship. At the beginning of 2008, guitar lessons will now be hosted at Donley’s Music stores.
Dave Donley has owned and managed music stores for over ten years. His commitment to see students develop in their musical potential is reflected in how he runs his stores with integrity, working to provide students and their parents with competent teachers, friendly customer service, and a business atmosphere that feels more like establishing friendships than paying for services. To find out more about Donley's Music, click on 'Links' in th left menu to access their website. This relocation will, however, involve some major changes.
Location:
There are two Donley’s Music locations. The information for these locations are posted in the 'About Us' link in the menu to the left.
New Available Day for Lessons:
Another change will include the availability of Wednesdays for lessons. SMI lessons are now offered Monday-Thursday, from 1:00pm to 7:30pm.
Lesson Fees:
Finally, the standard lesson fees have increased to $85 for 4 half-hour lessons per month. To some families, this is a major increase and may come as a surprise. However, over the last year, lesson fees have increased, but students who began lessons earlier and at a cheaper rate, were given a discount allowing them to maintain their rate. Unfortunately, this discount will not carry over in the transition as the rates are set by Donley’s Music. The breakdown of lesson fees are detailed in 'About Us' link in the menu to the left.
These changes may lead you to change your lesson day, time, or possibly even stop taking lesson altogether. If these changes have resulted in any inconvenience or if they result you stopping lessons, I sincerely apologize. This relocation has come about because I have no other choice.
